Hypnotics to return??
Hey guys, pics are up on the photo site from the Dr JimWard the Hypnotist, we should be recieveing the video in a week or so come by Michelle Robinsons office in the Student Development Center. Heres the link to the site again:

I am fascinated with Hypnosis, in general and would love to know more about hypnosis.
Not everyone sees the value in understanding hypnosis and how it works. Some religious people think that hypnosis conflicts with their beliefs. The day that Jim Wand came here, a few "religous minded" people were very resilient in trying to "disprove" hypnosis.
Some of us have the mindset to appreciate stuff of this nature, and there are others who fear that which they do not understand. It is easier to fear that which you do not know than to educate yourself on it. Hypnosis does NOT interfere with religious belief at all. All of us are in hypnosis when we sleep, anyway.
I think this is a great idea. I am a psych. major. Rock on!
I think hypnosis is very interesting and I agree many people are afraid of the religious or nonreligious implications surrounding it, I don't feel there is anything wrong with it myself, but it is kinda scary to see how much control one person could have over such a large group.
